Did you know cheetahs are one of the world’s most endangered species? There are only about 9,000 to 12,000 cheetahs remaining in the wild. It’s one of the reasons RE/MAX Estate Properties’ very own Elizabeth Marquart became involved in helping the cheetah survive.
“I am passionate about animals and especially big cats. Cheetah are highly endangered and most people don’t even realize this,” she comments.

Elizabeth is on the Board of Trustees for the Cheetah Conservation Fund and a percentage of all her sales goes directly to this fantastic organization (check out their site here.) She also hosts a fund raiser each year in Los Angeles where she raises $30-$40k a year! The organization is the world’s top institution dedicated to the cheetah’s survival in the wild. It was founded in 1990 by Dr. Laurie Marker, creating valuable programs to eradicate threats towards the cheetah. As if being on the Board and donating to the CCF was not time consuming enough for this superwoman, Elizabeth also travels to Namibia every year to volunteer and work directly with the wild cheetah.
Being part of the CCF means she has to have the ability and time to emerse herself into this wonderful passion, so it’s really no mystery as to why she chose RE/MAX Estate Properties as her headquarters. The company has provided the perfect tools to achieve the oh-so coveted work-life balance. Obvioulsy she’s got the “life” part of the equation down, but she’s no slouch when it comes to work either.
Elizabeth has been very successful as a RE/MAX Estate Properties agent selling a spectrum of homes ranging from $300K to $3million. All with the help of her fantastic assistant, Nicole Strober. She says, “[Nicole] is on top of everything and keeps me sane. She really holds everything together and keeps us going in a multitude of directions.”
Thank you for your passionate efforts, Elizabeth.
