Beach Cities see an influx of Renters

With high price tags, especially in beach towns like Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and South Redondo, more and more people are choosing to rent. It’s no surprise then that we have seen a growing community of renters in the last few years. Especially in the past two years, a significant number are opting to live in these beautiful beachy cities.

We aren’t simply talking about singles or young couples, but families too. Our data shows that from January 1, 2016 through December 8, 2016 (the day this post was published), 191 homes were successfully leased. We can assume the majority of these leases were for families, as our search criteria was limited to single family residences with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. That number is 31% more than the amount of properties leased in 2012, during the same timeframe with the same criteria! Check out the table at the end of the post with all of the data findings.*
